- ✓Mozhi milestone certificates document practice progress
- ✓1.0 ATAR point can be the difference between course offers
Mozhi connects spoken practice in primary school → measurable milestones → ATAR bonus potential at HSC
CEFR notice: Mozhi uses selected CEFR descriptors to structure its Tamil pilot pathway. No CEFR-aligned level certificate is currently available. Any future certificate would be issued by Mozhi for the skills stated; it would not be accredited or endorsed by the Council of Europe or be an Australian nationally recognised qualification.
Why heritage language schools choose Mozhi
Tamil CEFR pilot pathway
Mozhi is developing a Tamil pathway against selected CEFR listening, spoken-interaction and spoken-production descriptors from Pre-A1 to B2. Certification remains disabled until validation is complete.
Engage parents at home
Children practice between classes using the app. Parents track progress and can follow along, turning heritage language school into a family habit.
Track every student
Teachers see lesson completion and phrases mastered across all enrolled students from a single dashboard.
Built for diaspora learners
Content is designed for children who hear the language at home but struggle to reply — not for absolute beginners or native speakers.

How does school pricing work?
We tailor pricing to each school based on enrolment, language, and how you want to run the programme. Get in touch and we'll put together a proposal within 48 hours — no obligation.
Can teachers set assignments?
A teacher dashboard is on our roadmap. Right now students self-pace through lessons and teachers can see completion data.
Which languages are available?
Mozhi supports Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi and more. Contact us to confirm availability for your language.
Is there a free trial for schools?
Yes — we offer a 7-day free pilot for heritage language schools and community organisations. No commitment required.
Does Mozhi help with ATAR?
Mozhi builds the spoken fluency foundation from primary school that can support later heritage-language study. Its milestone certificates document progress through the Mozhi practice curriculum; they are not external qualifications.
How do spoken milestone assessments work?
Every 30 chapters, students can complete a 10-task spoken Mozhi Milestone Assessment. A score of 8 out of 10 earns a shareable certificate. Assessments never block later chapters, and students can practise missed phrases and try again.
Is Mozhi CEFR aligned?
Mozhi has a Tamil pilot framework covering selected CEFR listening, spoken-interaction and spoken-production descriptors from Pre-A1 to B2. It is still being validated: no CEFR-aligned level certificate is currently issued, and a Mozhi chapter milestone does not certify a CEFR level. Any future certificate would be issued by Mozhi for the skills it states; it would not be accredited or endorsed by the Council of Europe or be an Australian nationally recognised qualification.
